Non-chemical control

Physical removal

  • Please note all parts of this plant are poisonous and can cause skin irritation
  • This plant is notoriously difficult to eradicate
  • Dig out and dispose of plants and soil taking care not to break tubers as this will help the plant to spread.
  • Cut and bag the fruit before it drops seeds

Chemical control

  • Control using herbicides is not very effective
